Tessa, the petite powerhouse in our family.. As Ivy’s half-sister sharing the same father, they both proudly wear the badge of being Daddy’s girls. Resembling each other in both valor and personality, Tessa is full of confidence but is also my ‘take it all in first’ girl.

Tessa has been a remarkable teacher, infusing every aspect of her life with an infectious passion. Her presence has challenged me to strive for better, pushing to meet her high standards and abilities. Tessa is currently in advanced military training classes, standing shoulder to shoulder with German Shepherds and Malinois. Her trainer often marvels at her tenacity and drive, showcasing a laser-like 100% focus.

For anyone who has witnessed our family videos featuring playful puppies, Tessa’s focus and readiness is always evident, and it is showing with her pups, some who are now preparing for competition in obedience and junior agility. While Riley will forever hold a special place in my heart, Tessa is my passion and I would have badly failed had she been my first Border Collie, she came at the right time and is exactly what I needed.
