We’re always asked what we recommend or use ourselves so, here it is! I am a firm believer that you do not have to be rich to own a pup, these are just suggestions but you can certainly find great deals on Marketplace for used crates. I’m simply sharing what we have physically used and know.
Nutrition
This can be purchased at any pet store but I do find it a bit cheaper at Amazon and it’s delivered to your door!
Purina Pro Plan LineDHA is a supplement we add. A little goes a long way and this bottle (human consumption grade) will last you at least 3 months. There are ‘dog’ versions however they are identical in ingredients and typically cost 30% more.
Honest Kitchen
I love honest kitchen it is an excellent alternative to RAW or home cooked and you can buy the base and then just add your favorite protein. It’s a quality food, no question and if kibble isn’t really your first choice, I would highly recommend you try this as an alternative.
As we have many puppies getting ready to go home, parents have been asking about crates and gates! These are the ones I actually have and through experience, I much prefer the baby gates to the dog pens.
Chews: I personally stick with Bully Bunches and do not recommend soup bones OR Yak Chews, they are simply too hard and you are at risk of having your puppy or dog chip a tooth. Stick with Dental Chews (found at your local Vet) or Canadian Made Bully Bunches.
They are a bit more pricey but much easier on their teeth!!
